I'm a cultural anthropologist, conscious dancer, and multimedia artist interested in diverse research and creative adventures that explore how movement and immersive arts can catalyze socio-political/ secular spiritual transformations of the self, and produce new or different modes of being and relating to other humans and this earth of ours.

"Sensational Forms" is a term coined by anthropologist of religion Birgit Meyer (2011). They are all the habituated mediated and sensorial ways of connecting with something transcendental. "Ecstatic" refers to ecstatic dance, a kind of free-form movement meditation that arises from North American new-age movements in the late 90s. Together the title of this video, done in collaboration with Eva Trapeznicova, evokes an improvised dance practice through which connections with the spiritual dimensions are achieved.
